As part of the informal programme of the visit, we also had an opportunity to explore some of Warsaw’s less familiar sights together with our guests from Italy. We visited the Praga district, including the Koneser Praga Centre, and then took an evening walk through the streets of Nowy Świat and the surrounding area, including Foksal Street and Three Crosses Square. A joint dinner provided an opportunity for further discussions, exchange of views and ideas, and consideration of possibilities for developing future cooperation. Several potential areas for joint activities were identified, which may provide a basis for further international initiatives in teaching and research.
