Consumption safety as a challenge of enterprises competitiveness

In this work, we substantiated the need to take into account the safety of consumption by producers and end consumers. In the theoretical aspect, the following have been developed:

  • the theoretical and methodological principles of consumption safety in the context of the exclusivity of regulation of socio-economic development of countries,
  • the directions and forms of ensuring consumption security at the micro-level of the system hierarchy to identify prerequisites for strengthening the economic security of business entities through ensuring consumption,
  • the priority means of safety-oriented modernization of the marketing infrastructure of the enterprise with a focus on consumer safety for the modernization of the business environment. Applied recommendations relate to the strengthening of consumer safety through the application of a quality management system, the concept of corporate social responsibility in the activities of enterprises based on the formulated basic principles of consumption safety with proof of the dominant role of marketing (social-ethical, environmental, internal, partnership and managerial) as a means of interaction with the external environment.
